For Complement Essential Capsules, Core, & Minerals - the bottles are designed to last an adult for 60 days at the recommended dosage, so the default frequency for subscriptions is 2 months.

For Complement Protein & Daily Greens, since each bag contains 30 servings, the default interval is 1 month.
If you find that you are not using it every day, or if your doctor/dietician encourages you to take a larger dose, we can set up a custom delivery interval for you. You can adjust the frequency of your subscription by accessing your account and adjusting your frequency or by sending an email to our support staff: team@lovecomplement.com.

Next, you will see a page with a list of your subscriptions and a blue button that says "edit address". Click this button and enter all the details of your new shipping location and select "update". All subscriptions listed below this shipping address will be shipped to this location.

Please note, that updating your address will only affect UPCOMING orders, it will not change the shipping address for any orders that have already been processed (that includes any orders that were processed earlier in the same day). If you need to change the shipping address of an order that has already been processed, please reach out to our customer service team at team@lovecomplement.com with your new shipping location. Our fulfillment team works incredibly fast, so time is of the essence.

Most US orders are carried by UPS/FedEx/DHL. Some domestic orders may also be shipped as USPS Priority, in locations where the default method would take too long (for example to Alaska or Hawaii).

If you have a specific carrier preference, please reach out to our customer service team prior to processing your order to discuss options for your specific order. Once orders have been processed, our quick-working fulfillment team gets to work packing and shipping orders, often leaving us minimal time to make changes to a processed order.

International orders are shipped with DHL Global Mail, meaning DHL carries the order to your country, with final delivery by the local post office or other partner courier service. You can find these details on your order tracking page.

At the moment, we are shipping from multiple fulfillment locations, therefore your order may ship in one or multiple packages. Please note, your tracking information will be sent to you, as soon as it is created. If it looks like your order is incomplete - no worries - the rest of your order is being packed up at a different fulfillment center and will (also) be on its way to you very shortly. We ship all orders within 3 business days of collecting payment. Domestic shipping typically takes 2-5 business days, but varies depending on location. Unfortunately, we are not able to provide exact shipping times for international orders as there are many factors out of our control that can change ship times.

Unfortunately, we do not have control over the delivery process, and sometimes (but very rarely), packages end up misdelivered.

Occasionally, the status may also change to “Delivered” before delivery actually happens. We are as baffled about this as you probably are, but it seems to be related to how shippers update their tracking info. If the change is recent, please give it an extra 24 hours.

If it looks like your order was lost, returned to the sender, or still shows as 'Unfulfilled' in your account, please contact us (team@lovecomplement.com) so we can look into this issue and resolve it for you.

Yes, Complement® Essential Capsules are nut-free, but does contain algal oil. Also, the D3 component may contain traces of corn due to the manufacturing process. 

No. Unlike some organic B12 or D3 sprays which can be certified because of the carrier liquid (not because of the nutrients themselves… there is no such thing as ‘certified organic’ B12), the largest part (by volume) of Complement® Essential Capsules is algal oil. And since there are currently no provisions for organic certification of algae products, making Complement® Essential Capsules certified organic is, for now, impossible.

It is not required, but won’t hurt the product (or the shelf life).

Like most supplements, a cool dark place is recommended, and a fridge certainly fits the description. If you do keep it at room temperature or travel with it a lot, you might notice that the capsules stick together a bit. That’s no cause for concern, and shaking the bottle should break them apart again.

There shouldn't be any difference between taking all three capsules with a single meal or spacing them throughout the day.

We do recommend taking them with meals that contain at least some amount of fat, such as avocado, cashews, coconut, or oil, as this will help with the absorption of the nutrients.

if you were to chew the capsules or open them to use just the liquid, you’d likely notice the algal oil we use has a fairly strong marine flavor and also contains some chlorophyll.

Rather than being processed, refined oil, Almega®PL naturally contains other beneficial compounds including carotenoids, Omega-7, and Chlorophyll - which gives it a dark green color that appears nearly black in the capsules.
