COMPLEMENT® 100-DAY GUARANTEE & REFUND POLICY

This Refund Policy is offered by Outlier Health, Inc. (“Complement,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and applies to purchases made at lovecomplement.com.

The Complement 100-Day Guarantee

We want you to love Complement. If you’re not happy with your order for any reason, you have 100 days to ask for a full refund of what you paid for the product — no explanation required. This 100-day guarantee applies to both one-time orders and subscription orders. For one-time orders and the first order of a new subscription, the 100 days run from the date you receive the order; for subscription renewals, the 100 days run from the date of the charge.

How to Request a Refund

Contact our Customer Happiness team at team@lovecomplement.com or 844-752-6822 within the 100-day window. We will email you a prepaid return shipping label, so you pay nothing to send your product back. Once you ship the item using our label, we refund the full amount you paid for it to your original payment method. Refunds include the price you paid and any sales tax; original outbound shipping charges, if any, are not refunded. For an order that has not shipped — including a cancelled pre-order — no return is necessary and we refund the amount paid without waiting for a return. Damaged or defective items also do not require a return (see below). We never charge a restocking fee, and you never pay return shipping.

Damaged or Defective Items

If any item arrives damaged or defective, contact us and we will replace it or refund it at no cost to you. We will not require you to return a damaged or defective item before making it right.

“Buy 2, Get 1 Free” and Other Bundle Offers

Promotional bundles — such as “Buy 2, Get 1 Free” — are sold as a single bundle at one bundle price. Refunds are always based on the amount you actually paid. We do not assign or deduct any separate “retail value” for promotional or complimentary items.

  • Full refund: Return all items in the bundle within 100 days using our prepaid label, and we will refund the full amount you paid for the bundle.
  • Partial return: If you keep part of a bundle, we refund a proportional share of the total amount you actually paid, calculated by dividing what you paid by the number of items in the bundle.

Example: If you paid $60 for a three-item “Buy 2, Get 1 Free” bundle and return one item, we refund $20 (one-third of the $60 you paid). You are only ever refunded based on what you actually paid — never charged the “retail price” of a free or promotional item.

Subscriptions: Cancelling and Refunds

You can cancel a subscription at any time, with no fee and no phone call required. Cancellation is available online through your account, is at least as easy as signing up, and takes effect when you submit it; we will send you a confirmation. You may also cancel by replying to any subscription email or by contacting us at team@lovecomplement.com or 844-752-6822. Cancelling stops future renewal charges; it does not by itself refund a charge that has already been processed, which remains covered by the 100-day guarantee above.

If you would like a refund of a recent subscription charge, the 100-Day Guarantee above applies: contact us within the applicable 100-day window described above and we will provide a prepaid return label and refund the full amount of that charge. We send subscription renewal reminders as described in our Terms of Sale and Cancellation Policy, and advance notice before any change to your subscription price or other material terms.

Free Trials, “Try Before You Buy,” and Pre-Orders (If Offered)

If we offer a free trial or “try before you buy” item, you can return it before the trial ends to avoid being charged: contact us and we will email you a prepaid return label, and you owe nothing if you ship the item back using our label before the trial period ends. If we offer pre-orders, you can cancel an unfulfilled pre-order at any time for a full refund of any amount paid.

Relationship to Our Terms of Service and Terms of Sale

This Refund Policy is part of, and is incorporated into, our Terms of Service and Terms of Sale. Any dispute arising out of or relating to a refund, return, cancellation, or this policy is governed by Section 18 of our Terms of Service (Dispute Resolution; Binding Arbitration; Class Action and Representative Action Waiver), which contains a binding individual arbitration agreement, a class and representative action waiver, an opt-out right, and related exceptions and limitations. Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable right or remedy you may have under the consumer-protection laws of your state of residence.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. If we make a material change, we will post the updated policy here with a new effective date and, where required by law, notify you.
