So, I'm sure Essential has all the nutrients I need on a whole food-plant based diet, but I find the capsules hard to swallow. They get gummy when wet making them hard to swallow. In addition, I burp fish oil for several hours after taking them in the morning.

Unfortunately, I did not like the texture or taste. Was very thick and hot a weird taste in my smoothies, coffee, oatmeal, etc. I tried the unflavored protein powder and really wanted to like it, but I need to cancel future orders.

I like this protein powder because it has a nice variety of protein sources that my body will accept without a reaction.
I love that complement not only fills in any nutritional gaps, but also cares about the environment. Not only is the packaging plastic free, it’s compostable! It’s always a shot in the dark buying protein powder, will it taste good. I absolutely love this protein powder. The taste is delicious. I look forward to my morning smoothie as much as my morning coffee. I like to blend it with soy milk, spinach, flax, a banana and frozen mixed berries. I comes out smooth and thick and oh so tasty!
