No-Bake Apple Pie Energy Balls
When it comes to a homemade snack, I have three rules:
- It must be easy to make.
- It must taste great.
- It must be healthy and empower my lifestyle.
Because when you have an easy, healthy snack option available, you're much less likely to grab processed junk food for a quick bite.
Here's an energy ball recipe from Esther, one of Complement's Customer Experience Experts, which fits all of my criteria and more.
They're no-bake, simple, and loaded with protein for on-the-go nutrition.

Ingredients

- 5 Large Medjool Date, pitted
- 1/2 C Complement Protein
- 1/2 C Unsweetened Applesauce
- 1 Tsp Cinnamon
- 1 Tsp Maple Syrup (omit if using sweetened applesauce)
- 1/2 Tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1/2 C Walnuts
Directions

- Blend in a food processor until finely ground.
- Scoop palm-sized/golf-ball-sized handfuls, roll into a ball and freeze.
- Top with cashew frosting, if desired.
