Plant-Based Recipe:
Jules' Matcha Date Overnight Oats

There's little more satisfying than entering the kitchen with your food already prepped.

Especially with that food is healthy, simple, and delicious.

If you haven't prepped overnight oats before, it couldn't be more simple:

Soak raw oats in plant milk overnight (or for at least a few hours), and you'll wake up to soft, creamy oatmeal without any cooking.

Add whatever ingredientsyou're craving — like Complement Protein — during the soaking or the next morning for additional flavor, nutrients, and enjoyment.

Ingredients:

    • 3/4 cup rolled oats (use gluten-free if needed)
    • 1/4 cup raw buckwheat groats
    • 1/4 cup medjool dates, chopped (sub with raisins)
    • 1 serving of Complement Protein
    • 1 tsp coconut sugar
    • 1 tsp matcha powder
    • 1 cup plant milk of choice
    • 1 ripe banana, mashed (Optional)

Other add in ideas: 2 tbsp of...

    • Goji berries
    • Chia seeds
    • Hemp seeds
    • Cacao nibs
    • Chopped nuts of choice
    • Pumpkin puree
    • Shredded carrots
    • Shredded coconut

Topping options:

    • Maple syrup
    • Berries or any other fruit
    • Coconut flakes
    • Coconut (or almond/soy/cashew) yogurt
    • Nut butter
    • Chopped pecans/walnuts/brazil nuts

Instructions

    1. Add all main ingredients to a mason jar or your fave tupperware.
    2. Let soak overnight, or for just 45 minutes.
    3. In the morning, serve it up with your favorite toppings!
